Head Coach

Pierre Deliso joined Park Slope United a year and a half ago after leaving his corporate job in luxury hospitality.

His playing career stretches across the globe. Pierre played for his boyhood club from ages 5 to 14 just an hour away from Marseille, France. For six years he attended a soccer school in the UK coached by Tim Lees (former St. Louis FC Academy director + youth coach at Liverpool, Watford & Wigan) and Jay Cochrane (current Wigan foundation phase director).

Despite interest from D1 and D3 schools, Pierre decided to forgo playing in college, while allowing him to focus on his studies in Philosophy and Spanish. During his year abroad, he did manage to walk on at Universidad Diego Portales in Chile, starting every game and winning the local conference.

He loves coaching because he loves soccer and he loves kids. Showing up for them, understanding their development and fostering healthy environments are foundational building blocks to his coaching approach.
